Stories that stay with you

Well, hello. What a delightful surprise. Come in and make yourself comfortable, browse some books, read an article or two, and relax. There’s nothing of harm here, just a few stories that will stay with you. Perhaps make you think and possibly haunt your dreams.

Yes, alright. They’re mostly dark stories, sometimes seasoned with a little dark wit. Apocalyptic horror books need a lighter side, but the humour has to be sparingly sprinkled. Speculative fiction, tales which deal with everyday cosmic horror and post-apocalyptic scenarios, rarely feels right unless it reflects the full range of human emotion. The fleeting joy, quiet horror, and terrible suffering of being alive. The prospect of death and what lies beyond, they’re the things which define our shallow and wonderful existence. Don’t you think?

Bio

Best known as an independent author of horror and apocalyptic fiction. There’s no doubt that books and stories are close to my heart, but I’ve also many years experience as an (anonymous) copy writer, web content creator and consultant.

The Dead Boxes

The Dead Boxes are scary objects. Ordinary on the surface, but look a little closer. You could have one and not know it. Be very careful. They hold miracle and mystery, horror and salvation. None are the same. Except in one regard. You don’t need one, even if you think you do.

The Ferine Apocalypse
